Carey High School News Highlights Friday Dismissal and Dance
The Carey High School student body cheered during a 2 30 dismissal and attended the annual Sadie Hawkins dance Friday night sponsored by the Girl Reserves. The 7th grade mixed chorus opened the devotional program with a hymn as Mr. Driver led Scripture and communal prayer. The school radio program aired last Wednesday with Martha Wenner as master of ceremonies.

Blood Donor Dates Set for December 11 and 12

Tests of a New York Central owned diesel freight locomotive on the Toledo and Cincinnati division included a run carrying freight from Toledo to Bellefontaine. A masrc meeting at Carey high school heard a park committee report and talks on similar parks. About 200 adults and 50 children attended with speakers Judge Russell H. Kear Charles Artz William J Hunter Walter Asman and Frank Galloway. Bond issue and private subscriptions were proposed to fund land and swimming pool. Petitions with about 100 signatures were circulated.
