Seven Injured In Auto Truck Collision At Marion
Seven people including two families and the truck driver were injured in an early Friday auto-truck collision at Marion. Injured were Charles Logsdon and wife and 21 month old son Michael. Albert Niederkohr and wife and 21 month old son Kenneth, all of Upper Sandusky. and truck driver Karl Tuttle of Columbus. They received treatment at Marion city hospital for cuts and contusions. Niederkohrs and Kenneth were discharged Friday. Logsdon is son of Wilfrid Logsdon of south of Carey. Niederkohr is son of William Niederkohr of Carey.

The Ohio division of wildlife reports pheasant populations are reasonable in about 50 percent of Ohio's 88 counties. Habitat programs started in 1947 and recent warm spring weather boosted nesting. 659 wildlife areas leased for five years and nearly $2.1 million spent on surrounding crops. Duck hunting for early season remains good with Indian Lake noted for high shooting.
