Pilgrimage of Consolation draws record attendance and hope
The Pilgrimage of Consolation church concluded last Thursday with a large throng from surrounding towns. An estimated two thousand joined the Solemn High Mass procession while clergy from multiple towns participated. The event emphasized worship though it also served as a social outing for youths. Despite crowded seating, plans for a larger basement church by Assumption Day aim to expand capacity and sustain devotion led by Father Mizer and the congregation.
