H G Chambers receiver for The Hume China Co reports no bids were received for 91 percent acres offered at a Saturday public sale. The land, purchased by The Hume people from Frank Ogg at 600 dollars per acre, was appraised at 3000 dollars per acre for the sale.

Priests from many cities assist local clergy guiding spring pilgrimage to the shrine. Catherine R infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Eli Warren of Blanchard Township died six days ago. Tuesday morning the mother Grace Warren age 20 died at 4 25 am of pneumonia and blood poisoning.
