Story of Skinner's Dress Suit on Senior Play

McLoughlin and Perkins seek a big Willard Jackson contract in New York. A fake contract surfaces and Briggs is dismissed. Skinner, anxious over a raise, emulates success while Honey persuades him to try. The cast includes Sylvester Jesko, Karl Bame, Elias Arnold, Edward Fox and others with 43 named roles. The Senior play is May 19 with reserved seats at Ewing's.

Eccentric Stranger Detained After Nightly House Visits

Sunday evening Marshal O Connor took into custody a strangely garbed man calling himself Disciple George. Wearing a black skull cap and long robe, he roamed Worello Street seeking a follower and refused to leave town. He spent the night in jail and was ordered out Monday morning.

Funeral services for Millard Steen were held Friday afternoon at Christ Lutheran Church following his death from a stroke. Rev. Paul R. Clouser officiated with a quartet singing It Is Well With My Soul and Just As I Am. Interment was in Spring Grove Cemetery. Mrs Adam Hagenmaier Returns Home After Hospital Stay

Mrs Adam Hagenmaier left Grant Hospital in Columbus yesterday afternoon and was taken to her home in Upper Sandusky. She was accompanied by her husband Mr Hagenmaier and Miss Mabel Weist, a trained nurse from Upper Sandusky, who is caring for her. Mrs Hagenmaier is a daughter of Mr and Mrs Loren Stahl of Upper Sandusky.

Union Services Planned by Three Churches This Summer

Carey High School Forty Fourth Commencement Held

The forty fourth annual Carey High School commencement took place in the high school auditorium on Thursday May 21 at 8 p m. The program featured Pilgrims Chorus Soft Winds Coming From the Sea Into The Dawn and War March of the Priests performed by the high school orchestra. Conservation Council sets five year fish bag limits

The Conservation Council imposes a five year order to prevent depletion of bass crappies rock bass and bluegills with daily bag limits of Bass-Black eight, Rock Bass twenty, Blue Gills twenty and Crappies twenty three combined species. Death of Mrs. Minerva Ann Hunter at Carey home

Mrs. Minerva Ann Hunter of Carey died at 2 30 AM after a long illness with erysipelas and a stroke. Born Sept 30 1854 in Salem township she lived in the area most of her life. Surviving children include Charles Hunter Billa Snyder Harry Hunter Nora Hunter with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Widest Wyandot County bridge to open July

The 44 foot wide Dry Run bridge on E Findlay street will be the county’s widest. The Frank Heice Co Inc of Malinta holds the contract, employing 13 men, with concrete pouring for the top starting next week. Traffic is detoured past Russell Thom’s filling station until opening in July.
