Millard Steen Dies at Carey After Illness
Millard Steen a Carey resident was found dead in his bed by his son John after returning from school. Death was due to apoplexy and occurred about 10:30 am. He was 67, born near Arcadia February 28, 1874, son of Elias and Sarah Steen. He married Cora May Wonder in 1901, who died nine years ago. Two children, Evelyn and John Steen, survive. Funeral tomorrow at Christ Lutheran Church at 2:30 pm with Rev. Paul Kk. Clouser officiating. burial in Spring Grove cemetery.

Mrs Mary Stroup of Findlay received word of the death of her niece Mrs LT W Saltz of Detroit at age 43 after goitre operation. Her maiden name was Mina Germain, and she had often visited relatives here. Mrs Stroup, Mr and Mrs Max Stringfellow, and daughter Mary Alys traveled to Detroit to attend the funeral services.
