Memorial poppies will be worn by more than 10 million Americans on May 28 to honor men who died or served in France. The American Legion and Auxiliary organize the drive, with disabled veterans in 60 hospitals and 40 states producing the paper flowers and volunteers delivering them to collectors nationwide. Every penny goes to welfare funds for needy veterans and their families.

Carey Temple No 169 Pythian Sisters were inspected last Thursday at Castlehall by Mrs Leona Riker Findlay district deputy grand chief and earned a 98 percent grade.
