The First Methodist Church hosted a spring themed mother daughter banquet on Tuesday April 30 hosted by the W.S.C.S. and men of the church. Decor featured baskets of flowers lace gowns and wedding bells. A wedding dress fashion parade highlighted gowns from 1906 to 1956 worn by guests and relatives with music by Mrs. Cecil Laird and songs by Mrs. Bixler.

Cornea Transplant Performed Tuesday at University Hospital
Mrs Carl Musgrave of south of Carey underwent a cornea transplant to her left eye at 11 o clock Tuesday morning in University Hospital Columbus. A New York specialist and a Columbus doctor performed the operation, which must occur within 24 hours of cornea availability. She is in Room 863.
