High School Musical Draws Large Audiences
The annual musicale in the auditorium Tuesday evening drew a large appreciative audience. The vocal department led by Miss Mary Finley and the instrumental branch under William Holloway sponsored the show. The upcoming band festival features school bands from surrounding communities and will be held in Upper Sandusky tomorrow afternoon. Carey participants mean the school will close in the afternoon.

The Fusner corporation of Indianapolis has leased and bought about 400 acres of muck land north of Carey for a planned plant costing around 100000 dollars. The five year lease will net owners 150 to 250 dollars per acre while sold land brought 200 to 300 dollars per acre. Optical illusion triggers general fire alarm in Keene
Fire crews responded to a general alarm in Keene New Hampshire, only to learn it was an optical illusion. Patrolman Fred J Bergeron initially thought smoke and flames came from a second story window in a business district block.
