Dr. R. J. Semons of Carey has received notice from the war department to report for active duty as a 1st lieutenant in the medical corps of the United States army at Ft. Knox Kentucky on Tuesday April 8. The term of service is one year. Dr. Semons will leave Carey on April 6.
