Funeral for Mrs Krupp Held at Our Lady of Consolation

Funeral services for Mrs Bitzas Krupp were held Friday at Our Lady of Consolation Church. Rev. Vollrath led the solemn high mass with two other priests assisting. Burial followed at St. Marys Cemetery. Numerous nephews served as pallbearers and many relatives and friends attended from across Ohio including Krupp families from Lorain Sandusky Toledo Akron and Columbus. Floral tributes featured lilies carnations and snapdragons.

A morning service at Christ Lutheran church confirmed a two year instruction class. Carey Community Club Announces March Meetings

The Carey Community Club holds a regular meeting at the Moose hall on Monday evening March 28 with W. E. Beane of Arcadia as speaker. Beane is principal of Arcadia High School and agriculture teacher. A ladies banquet is planned at the K of P hall on Thursday evening March 31 with secretary notice for attendance.

Marion Kiwanis welcomed guests from Carey on Tuesday at Hotel Marion. Vernon M. Riegel of Columbus, former state and county school superintendent, spoke on taxation as the program centerpiece. G M Kurtz and Donald Kurtz performed on piano while an orchestra including Millicent Warren, Helen Beebe, Jack Heck, and La Moin Fagan supplied selections.

Thieves on S Muncie Street raided several autos Friday night, draining gas from Matt Fox and Earl Williams cars, stealing the Ford coupe headlight lenses and bulbs and two surgery kits from Dr. A. W. Balsley, plus a 4 wheel trailer from William Theis on Lake street. A Model T roadster or small delivery truck was sighted. Marshal Robert OConnor was not notified.

Lutherax Church Notes Easter Services Announced

Preparatory and Holy Communion services at 7:30 this evening. Holy Communion also on Easter. Easter Day starts with a sunrise service at 6:30. Sunday school at 9:15 and morning service at 10:30 with baptism and the Lord's Supper. The Luther League will be the only evening service.

Supper March 29 at Catholic Hall dinner and dance

The Christian Mothers will serve a roasted Swiss steak supper Tuesday evening March 29 at the Catholic hall. Dressing potatoes tomatoes fruit and cake are on the menu. Supper cards and dancing all for 25 cents. Everybody invited.
