Death of Father Charles Welch
Mr and Mrs J D Briggs and sons Harold and Ross returned Sunday from Mechanicsburg after the death of Mrs Briggs father Charles Welch. Welch died Friday evening March 9 after a six year illness. Funeral services were held Monday at Nation chapel near Mechanicsburg and interment at Summer Ford cemetery near London. He leaves his wife a son Richard Welch of Mechanicsburg a daughter Mrs Briggs and four grandchildren.

Dr. John D Siddall Dies After Illness at 61
Dr. John Denver Siddall died at his Findlay home after a six day illness from pleural pneumonia aged 61 years 1 month and 28 days. His funeral at home was led by Rev. J. B. Shellhaas with military honors by Earl Green Post and Wyandot and Nevada Posts. Burial was in Lee cemetery near Vanlue with firing squad taps and a cortege. He was born January 28 1873 in Amanda township Hancock county and married Carrie Corbin May 3 1898. He served in World War I and trained at Camp Greenleaf and Camp Devens. a longtime physician in Mt Blanchard Columbus Grove and Findlay. He was active in the American Legion and civic affairs.
