Wyandot County to elect corn hog committee men

Elections for permanent committeemen to manage corn hog contracts and land appraisals will be held in all townships on Thursday March 15 at 3 p m County Agent F Christian announced. Townships with 100 or more contracts will elect five members others three or four depending on township size. About 1060 contracts signed by March 10 with 4483 hog farms listed in the 1929 census. A training school for appraisers will be held March 19 at the court house, work starts March 20, and contracts go to Washington by April 15 with payments possibly in May.

Mr and Mrs Fred Nachbar of E South street quietly celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary Sunday. They were married at Bucyrus on March 11, 1872 with Clara Belle Coulter as Mrs Nachbar. They have two sons L J Nachbar and Charles Nachbar. They have lived in Carey over 30 years and previously on a farm near Bucyrus. Mr Nachbar is 84 and Mrs Nachbar 82 and both in good health.

Mrs Laura E Houk Dies In Columbus After Ill Health

Mrs. Laura E. Houk wife of Henry P. Houk died Monday at their residence 1544 Neil Ave Columbus after long illness. She is survived by her husband two daughters Mrs Henry O Miller and Mrs George E B Kibler a brother J O Walton of Sycamore. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Schoedinger's chapel Columbus. The family had lived in Carey before moving to Columbus more than 30 years ago.

Baby Daugher Dies Near Crawford In Pneumonia

Marilyn Joan Musgrave, infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Howard Musgrave, died at 9 50 Sunday evening at her grandparents home two miles east of Crawford after a brief illness with pneumonia. Born January 14 this year she was nearly two months old. Surviving are the parents two grandparents and a grandmother Mrs Luetta Brown of southeast of Upper Sandusky. A brother and four sisters are deceased. Funeral services were held at the grandparents home yesterday at 2 30 in charge of Rev A C Rainsberger Methodist pastor. Interment was in Spring Grove cemetery north of town.

Leslie Patterson Dead After Illness and Pneumonia
