A gang of carpenters led by Earl Briggs is enlarging the A. C. and Y. station office to double its former size and reduce the waiting room. New furniture will be provided to handle increased business.

Kiwanis Luncheon Highlights Will Making and Wills

The Kiwanis club met for a bi weekly noon gathering with Judge William ihe discussing how state law on wills has been hindered by failing to provide a will. Hon. L. S. Fuller offered warnings on attorney interests in wills. Farmers' Night speaker Charles V. Truax was announced for March 23 with high attendance expected. Delegates for the International Convention in Atlanta in May were to be chosen next Monday. Judge Duncan received the prize of the day.

Methodist Church Holds Special Meetings Through Easter

Special meetings started last Sunday continue with strong attendance each night at 7 30 except Fridays. Sunday services begin at 7 00. Easter sermon by Rev John P Martin of Cincinnati. New members will join and children will be baptized. special music planned for Sunday school hour.

Fire destroys house on West Street near Findlay Branch

A small house three doors south of the Findlay Branch on West Street burned Monday near noon. Owned by Wm. Greek and occupied by Burley Spears, the fire came from an overheated stove pipe. The structure was practically destroyed and to be torn down. the Spears family moved to Upper Sandusky.

Nephew Cassius Grigsby Paralyzed After Hay Rack Accident

Mr and Mrs J J Stoll and Mr and Mrs E M Burson visited Prospect to see Cassius Grigsby a nephew of the Stolls and Bursons who was severely injured a week ago when blown from a hay rack in a high wind. He is about 50 and paralyzed from the waist down. The hired man on the rack jumped to safety.

Roof Fire Damages Kinney Home Near McCutchenville

High winds sparked a chimney fire on Monday at Ralph Kinney’s residence near McCutchenville. Zeis and Mitchell applied a galvanized roof on Tuesday and Wednesday while Kinney, his wife, and his mother fought the blaze, extinguishing the fire despite windy conditions.
