Streams Run Over Banks After Tuesday Rain
A heavy rainfall totaling 126 inches by Tuesday plus 0.19 inch Monday night caused several streams in Wyandot county to flood their banks. At least three roads were closed through Tuesday night as a precaution, including route 638 B west of Brownstown, No 103 between US 23 and No 53, and route 699 south of Carey. The Upper Sandusky Marion road was about 6 inches above high water at 8 am Wednesday, with the Sandusky river out of banks and rising. it stood at 12.14 feet.
