Evangelistic Party Secured for Two Weeks at M E Church

At a congregational meeting of the M E church the pastor announced securing the Naftzger evangelistic party for a two week series of meetings. The official board authorized the pastor to finalize arrangements for the event under Dr Parle Naftager and the party. The congregation voted unanimously to call the party following the morning service. Upper Sandusky.

Careful totals for Shrine Building Fund in 1919

The Mareh Bulletin of Our Lady of Consolation Shrine notes Carey parishioners gave 8980.92 to the Building Fund in 1919, above expenses. Outsiders contributed a combined 24.47.20 through church offerings and pilgrim income.

Home For Aged People Acquires Barnthouse Property

The Home For the Aged People of the Reformed church in the United States bought J. P. Barnthouse’s residence and six acres south of town. Possession by June 1. Ruf of Toledo, superintendent, arranged the deal via Bolish & Failor. The home, founded five years ago, was formerly near Toledo on 174 acres and bequeathed by the Smith siblings. Relatives later claimed the property, with offers to relocate to Decatur, Indianapolis, Marion, or other Ohio towns. Rev. B. E. Lienkuemer, pastor of Trinity Reformed, notes the new location here is a cause for congratulation.

Wyandot Auto Club Forms in Upper Sandusky

A temporary Wyandot Auto Club organization was formed at Upper Sandusky last Thursday evening. It brings together automobile owners from Wyandot county and aims for broad membership. Elected temporary officers include President Ora Fox Vice President R G Short Secretary George Billhardt and Treasurer W P Reile.

Evangelistic Party Plans Church Choir Rehearsal

The Naftzger Evangelistic party from Upper Sandusky met Monday evening with local Methodist representatives to organize the large choir and meeting workers for upcoming services. An enthusiastic musical rehearsal directed by Everett Naftzger was held as plans for advertising and conducting the meetings were discussed.

Shamrock Box Sent From Ireland to Paragon Oil Rep

E W Burnison of Paragon Oil Co received a box of shamrock from Mr and Mrs B L Hoey of County Donegal Ireland on Tuesday. The moss packed plant was fresh and crisp as when gathered and had been sent to him while his family lived in Roundhead.

Mrs Copley and Lindowers Visit Fostoria to See Ill Relative

Man Dies After Ladder Breaks at North Street Residence

Last Saturday William P. Ortwig, while removing ladders from Mrs. W. C. Johnson's North Street home after hanging wallpaper, fell. He suffered fatal chest injuries when the ladder cracked under him.

Five New Members Joined American Legion Monday

The American Legion Post welcomed five new members during Monday evening ceremonies at Farl Green Test. A meeting was set for March 22 at 7:30 PM, with plans for further events discussed. In local moves, M Vanderholm recently sold his farm two miles NW of town to Will Heels and will relocate ten and a half miles east of Forest, renting five acres as part of the deal.

Frank Seebach and his family spent Sunday in Akron. Cleveland visitors C. C. Rittick and F. J. Quirk were in town on business. C. F. Walker of Cleveland, engineer for Christian Schawartzel berg-Gaede Co, returned Tuesday. L. Shumate plans to move his household goods this week after purchasing Levi Hile property on W Main Street. Building progresses with forms for first floor poured soon, steam pipe and fittings arrived, boilers shipped, machinery installation to begin after floors are poured.
