School Board Accepts Resignation of Principal Cecil Laird
The Carey Board of Education met Monday March 12 and accepted the resignation of Cecil Laird after 36 years of service. Vernon Hull was hired as Col Crawford principal for 1962-63, and Mrs. Victor Dunn will finish the year for Mr. Laird. The 1962-63 calendar was approved, with Sept 13 14 dismissed for the Wyandot County Fair. Plans for a May 8 building proposal were reviewed with architect Robert Normand present.
