One Car Crash Hospitalizes Two After Early Morning Collision
Two people were seriously injured in a one car crash on March 6 at 5 57 a m on E Findlay Street Carey Ohio. Driver Marline M Smith 26 Nevada and passenger Albert S Gibson 23 Manhattan New York were taken to Wyandot Memorial Hospital in fair condition. The car was demolished after striking a railroad crossing sign and a power pole.

The Carey Police Department filed an accident report on High Street where Ken Benjamin of Carey struck a parked 195? Olds owned by Harry Iden. Benjamin said he was talking to a passenger and did not see the parked car. Damages were estimated at 150 dollars for the 62 Chevy and 375 dollars for the parked auto. He was cited to court on a reckless operation charge.

Mrs Robert Frederick and Mrs E V McKee attended the Carmen presentation at University Hall Bowling Green State University on February 21. Ann McKee sang in the chorus under the University faculty with a New Orleans Opera Company conductor. The entire production earned strong praise for performers orchestra and chorus with comparisons to big city productions. A steak supper and dance followed on March 15 hosted by the VFW with prices set for adults and children.
