Carey Banquet Honors 1966 Citizen Robert Donelson
Robert T. Donelson of 344 East Findlay Street was named Carey’s Outstanding Citizen of 1966 at the joint Carey Jaycees Carey Community Development Corporation banquet held March 2 at First Methodist Church. The Distinguished Service Award was given by Richard Snook. Donelson, president of Donelson Packing Co., organized midget football, leads Carey's Booster Club, runs a Little League program, and helps place youths in jobs. He and his wife have five children. Dr. Louis Goorey addressed the group. Fred Snobarger was elected president of the Carey Community Development Corporation for the coming year.

Carey Juveniles Apprehended For Auto Theft
Two Carey juveniles were captured by the Carey Police Department this week and will be sent to juvenile court on auto theft charges. A stolen 1958 Chevrolet sedan was reported at 12 a.m. Wednesday by Jacob Vaughn of 132 Newhard Street. The suspects, of high school age, were apprehended at 12:35 a.m. and will be heard in juvenile court in Upper Sandusky.

An accident at 1 10 p m Monday at S Patterson and Worello Streets involved a 1967 Chevrolet driven by Jon Brezina who struck a tree after skidding. Brezina, 29, of 227 Cherry Blossom Lane, sustained hand cuts and bruises with $3500 vehicle damage. A second crash at 415 pm Sunday at Patterson and E Findlay Streets where Gregory Patton failed to stop for a red light. his 1966 Oldsmobile collided with Joe Higgins 1967 Ford pickup, causing damage totalling $384.
