Betty Mellzena Bland, 9 months, daughter of Forest and Mrs Bland, died February 27 1926 after frail health from birth. Funeral Monday at 1 PM led by Rev A G Tozer with music by Mrs Dora er, burial at Me Cutenerivilté. Survived by parents and one half brother Kenneth Baughman. two sisters preceded. Mother collapsed at funeral but recovered later. Relatives and friends sent flowers with many named to honor Betty.
Voyle Broshares of Paragon filling station on B Findlay street won a $1 prize and a $5 prize in the curbescue drawing contest conducted by the Toledo Blade. He is pursuing a correspondence course in cartooning.
Mr and Mrs Forest Bland express sincere thanks to neighbors friends and church for help during their recent bereavement. They thank the pastor and musicians for funeral services and those who provided automobiles.

Out of town guests attended the funeral of Mrs. Amanda Young last Thursday. Names include James Kenan Cora Kenan Arthur Enders from Upper Sandusky. Mr and Mrs Joseph Livingston of Pittsburg Pa. Mrs Marie Boyer and son Junior. and Mrs Cora Hicks of Detroit.

Miss Louise Walter Wyandot county Red Cross secretary stopped in Carey Saturday morning on her way to a Lima children's clinic. She was accompanied by Homer Glasco of Upper Sandusky, a boy who recently had braces fitted on a foot after three months of treatment for bone tuberculosis at Lima city hospital.

R. D. Mayberry dies at home in Jackson township after six months illness. Born 1852 in Lehigh county, Pa he moved here fifty years ago and married Ella Dennis forty four years ago. Survived by wife four children Arthur W D Carl and Blanche two sisters and a brother. Funeral attended by Ernest Dunn Ruth Dunn and others from the Carey family at the German Reformed church in Findlay.
Monday morning the West Ind school building was entered and ransacked. Desks were disarranged and a burnt match found on A. EF. Constien's desk. A fire escape door was unhooked, suggesting the exit. Entry method unknown. pennies missing and investigators suspect adult intruders seeking money.

The mayor reported fines from intoxication offenses and license payments totaling $32 after costs, and the board confirmed new appointments and minor police equipment updates.

Easter Cantata The King Triumphant by Ashford will be performed Easter evening by a mixed choir of 40 voices.
The Kiwanis Club gathered at noon with good attendance. W. S. Bish highlighted a needy as well as worthy local family. A subscription raised a sizable sum for this work. Rotarian Mr Shafer of Mansfield and L. Royer Ford dealer Spencerville were guests. plans for a ladies night were discussed. next meeting is Monday noon.
Agricultural agent Ames M. Rowe will present a talk on European corn borer facts and control with specimens on display. The event is free and open to all, scheduled for Tuesday night March 16 at Moose Hall.

Gervase Stark, a twin daughter of Mr and Mrs Theodore Stark of northwest of Carey, died Thursday evening of last week. Born January 4, 1926, the child’s funeral services were held Saturday morning at Our Lady of Consolation church.
A horse sale held last Friday at Nachbar's barn, hosted by A. G. Collet, drew a good crowd. Horses sold from 145 to 300 dollars, with prices below earlier sales this season.
