Apple Peddlers Arrested in Marion Escape Debt
Thomas Dugan of Dayton and Peter Hunn of Toledo were arrested in Marion on request of Carey liveryman Ed Keefer after riding a Hocking Valley freight. They claimed to be apple peddlers with two carloads of fruit. Keefer lent $15 and a rig. after selling the apples they fled, but settled with Keefer and were released.
