Risk Pedro Doings at Houk Home
Last Thursday evening the Risk Pedro Club was entertained by a committee led by Mrs. W H Houk Mrs Chas McGill Mrs S K Gillette and Mrs R C Van Buren at the Houk residence. Parlors wore red white and blue with Little Misses Gertrude Houk and Dorcas Dow guiding guests to dressing rooms. Pictures of George and Martha Washington adorned the walls and cherry motifs recalled the well known tree. Supper partners were found by hunting nut shells bearing ladies names and euchre tally cards resembled hatchets. Guests included Mr and Mrs Guido Spencer Misses Josephine Eloise Thrall and Mr Homer Wonder. On Saturday afternoon Mrs Charles McGill hosted a regular meeting with Mrs T Edmonson and Miss Jeanette DeWitt as guests. Miss Mary Simon assisted in serving.
