Mrs. Dick Seivert of Toledo spent Sunday with her mother Mrs. Louise Ewing and son E. K. Ewing. Mrs. Ida Mullholand and daughter Betty Rae of Findlay were guests of relatives here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Merle Saunders, Mr and Mrs. Thomas Saunders and children and Mrs. Bertha Crumrine spent Sunday evening in Tiffin. Mrs. Zella McCauley and Mrs. Merritt Shaffer and children of Toledo are spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. I. K. Mullholand. Mrs. Bertha Crumline and Miss Kay Saunders attended a birthday dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs Gerald Crawford and family at Forestor? last Tuesday, given in honor of Miss Diana Crawford's birthday anniversary. The Village of Carey Ohio filed a petition with the Wyandot County Board of Commissioners on June 5 1944 to annex Eastern Height Addition. The tract covers 11.42 acres in parts of Sections 16 and 21 Crawford Township and is described by a detailed boundary starting at Wyandot Street. A public hearing is set for August 7 1944 at 10 o clock in the morning at the Board office. The village solicitor is H G Chambers.
