The Carter bridge in Wyandot County opens after finishing touches, costing about 50 000 dollars. It features reinforced concrete arches, 18-foot roadway, three spans, and a 33-foot top elevation. Construction used 1 000 sacks cement per support, 80 tons steel, and 1 450 tons sand.

The River Cave Museum expands with 200 square feet to house new curiosities including a sea porcupine fish, a mastodon rib eight feet long, a five legged cow, a half pig half elephant animal, heathen idols, Indian relics, a mastodon tooth, a two headed calf, and numerous rare birds. William Marion Moore died of heart failure Monday afternoon at 4 30 at the Presler home near Vanlue. He was 80 born February 21 1845 in Amanda Township Hancock County. Survived by wife Julia Ann Thompson Moore three children Ida Hoy Rosa Presler and Prof J B Moore two grandchildren and three step grandchildren. Funeral at Presler home conducted by Rev C S Poling burial in St Johns cemetery.

Ralph Parrish of Houcktown and Isadore Susang of Fostoria were jailed Friday night for drunk and disorderly conduct at the park dance. Each paid $14.60 or $10 plus costs. two girls were reported drunk earlier. Carl Ish of Fostoria, seen arguing at Standard Oil station, was jailed after a loud scene. Monday he paid $10 and $14.60 costs. Mayor Blue halted the incident and noted possible driving while intoxicated charges if witnesses had seen him driving.
