New Ordinances Keep Fines In ca xey Village Treasury

Ca xey village council read and passed Ordinance No 463 governing motor vehicles on streets and alleys for third time and Ordinance No 465 on penalties for disturbing the peace. Fines will remain in the village treasury after July 6. Mayor G C Wagner reported receipts of 540.68 with distributions to town, county and state. Other items include bond purchases for the Sewer Improvement Fund and a referendum petition dismissal. Eight building permits were approved for residences and a factory addition. A resolution of respect for Cletus Courtad was authorized and a letter from National Lime & Stone Co expressed appreciation for a dust-reduction resolution.

Jaycees and Wives Install Officers in Upper Sandusky

The Jaycees and JayCee Jays held a combined installation dinner on June 9 at Evergreens Restaurant in Upper Sandusky with 61 members present. Fostys Purchase Homes From Canodes In City Deals

Mr and Mrs Ferdinand F Fosty of 147 W Brown Avenue purchased the 5 room house at 311 E North Street from Mr and Mrs Carson Canode through Stevens Realty. The Canodes bought the Huston Lumber Cots building on Lakeland Drive in the Lakeland addition, a 6 room frame house with one bath. Possession of the North Street home is planned for around July 1, and the Fostys will move there once ready.

A 7-pound boy arrived Monday at Wyandot Memorial Hospital to Mr and Mrs Frederick Lynch of 254 W Findlay Street. Minnie Lou Beckley Lynch is the mother. the father is son of Dr and Mrs H B Lynch of Lincoln Missouri. The couple also has a son Donald. At Flower Hospital Toledo a 6 pound 13 ounce boy named Richard Kevin was born at 4 am Friday to Mr and Mrs Richard E Whitenack of Toledo. he has a sister Suzan aged 41. The Whitenacks’ new grandchild is the fourth generation in the family line. Also at Flower Hospital, another birth occurred Tuesday June 7 at 2 10 pm to William Klotz and Kay Hall Klotz of Toledo. Stephen James Klotz weighs 8 pounds 3 ounces and has a brother William Henry.

About 55 boys from the Carey school district attended a Cleveland Indians vs Boston Red Sox game in Cleveland last Thursday. The trip was sponsored by the Kiwanis Club and the boys were guests of the Indians. Attendance was lower and the home team lost.
