Members of the Fortnightly Club travel to Columbus Saturday for the Ohioana Library Association tour. Carey Shuffleboard Club Opens Season at Memorial Day Potluck
Members of the Carey Shuffleboard Club opened the season with a Memorial Day potluck at Memorial Park shelter house. Forty seven members attended a red white and blue decorated supper chaired by the May committee, Rollie Wright poured coffee, and rain forced tournament delays after the meal. Red Scoarse led the crowd handling a busy evening and inviting anyone over 18 to join. Pool To Open Friday At Memorial Park Aides Say

Pocket Picked Wallet Stolen at Local Store

Bernard Joseph Neff son of Mr and Mrs C J Neff 146 S Lake St graduated Thursday May 31 from Mt Saint Francis Pro Seminary Indiana. He won the St Bona venture award for maintaining 90 percent grades.
