Mrs. Bert Adelsperger suffered a serious head injury and Earl Adelsperger sustained cuts and bruises. others escaped with minor injuries as rescue crews aided the wrecked cars and a Shumaker vehicle was overturned.

On Tuesday morning at Our Lady of Consolation church the ceremony joined Miss Minnie Adelsperger and Mr. Clarence Rufting during nuptial high mass celebrated by Father Phillip. Attendants included Miss Florence Witter of Bucyrus and Mr. Urban Frederick of Millersville. After a simple white crepe de chine gown and georgette dress, the couple hosted a dinner at the bride’s parents’ home on North Vance street before beginning housekeeping in the Elmer Wonder property on East Brown avenue. Mr Rufting, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Rufting, works with his father in the implement and automobile business on South Vance street.

Death of General I. M. Kirby in Upper Sandusky
General I M Kirby died at his Upper Sandusky home on Memorial Day from heart trouble after a fall left him unable to walk without crutches. Born February 10, 1835 in Columbus, he served in the Civil War rising from private to brigadier general Lincoln commissioned in 1865. He married Anna White in 1867 and leaves two daughters and two sons, Thomas an attorney in Cleveland and John deceased. His funeral was held at his home Saturday afternoon.
