On Tuesday morning at Our Lady of Consolation Church Miss Grace Thiry daughter of Mr and Mrs Joseph Thiry wed Edward Noon son of Mr Thomas Noon in a single rings ceremony. Rev Fr Lawrence officiated. The couple left for a motor trip to Bellevue then began housekeeping on Muncie Street. Local guests attended and gifts were exchanged.

Death of Ermine P Black at 42 in Memorial Evangelical Church
Ermine P Black died after a ten day illness of acute indigestion and valvular heart trouble at 6 10 pm Tuesday at his sister in law’s home on South Munciestreet. Born September 24 1885 he was the son of John and Cordelia Hawkins Black and is survived by his mother and three brothers I J Black AvJ Black of Carey and C E Black of Toledo. Twin brother Earl Black died January 8 1927. He belonged to Memorial Evangelical church. The body was prepared at Paul C Goff funeral home and later moved to the Black home. Funeral at Memorial Evangelical church Thursday at 2 30 pm conducted by Rev L H Naumann with Rev O D Myers assisting. Burial in Spring Grove cemetery.

The Carey Rod and Gun Club hosted its first public trap shoot on Decoration Day south of Waterworks Park. Accident at Vostoria injures Mangett in early week wreck
A Ford driven by Clifford Neff of this city collided at the corner of AV Robertson and N Union streets in Fostoria with a farmer’s car, flipping Neff’s vehicle. Neff escaped injury while Frank Mangett suffered a badly bruised right side and a head cut. Mangett was taken to the hospital and later discharged to Vincent’s home after treatment. the Neff car was towed away and repaired.

Bellefontaine residents Mrs Hilda Fefley and Mrs W K Thomas of Carey suffered serious injuries when their 7 passenger car collided with a Graham Elgin car on the West Liberty pike just south of Bellefontaine. Five other occupants were less badly hurt. Mrs Thomas mother Mrs Jacob Wagner and nephew Elmer Powers learned of the accident. Mrs Thomas had a severe head wound and facial gashes along with other Bruising.
