Two Cars Collide at North Sandusky Avenue Intersection

At six oclock Friday evening an Overland driven by Martha Landversicht struck a Marion party enroute to Fostoria at the intersection of North Sandusky avenue and Walker streets. The impact damaged the left side of the Marion car and caused damage to the Overland including a bumper lamp and spring. No injuries were reported.

Mrs Collet Recovers After Tumor Operation At Mercy Hospital

Mrs. Joe Collet underwent tumor removal last Thursday at Mercy Hospital and is getting along nicely. Her husband and Mrs. John Fieck and Mrs. John Ekard witnessed the operation, with A. G. Collet from this city in Tiffin at the time.

Bucyrus youths arrested for fast driving in Upper Sandusky

Three Bucyrus youths were arrested Sunday evening in Upper Sandusky for fast driving and boisterous conduct. The driver, named McMichael, was fined 10 dollars and eighty cents after a hearing before Mayor Charles Bringman. Union notices also report William E. Jordan from Pasadena passing through to join Wyandot Post 225 events while undertaking a coast to coast health restoration trek. The Post plans a New Orleans convention trip and a $50 donation to Harrison Smith Park.

Last Monday noon Kiwanis heard three Chau tauqua men Cornett Gross and Vernon discuss Chautauqua work and its value to communities. Proceeds may benefit Carey library with a possible larger library appropriation. members urged gifts of books or magazines. Acting president E B Kurtz won a practical prize a hair brush. Ministers To Vacation At Lakeside And Fine Lake Mich

Rev and Mrs Lewis P Speaker leave Monday for Lakeside for a week long stay. The United Lutheran church runs a summer school of mission and church work there with Miss Eva Kahn of Louisville Kentucky Mrs Speakers sister joining them. On return Rev Speaker resumes Sunday services at Carey then travels with his mother Mrs Lizetta Speaker to Toledo to join Mrs Speaker and Miss Kahn for a trip to Fine Lake Michigan a summer resort near Battle Creek. Rev Speaker has been granted vacation from his pastoral duties during August.

Funeral services held for Joseph Jenot at Our Lady of Consolation

Funeral services for Joseph Jenot were conducted Friday at Our Lady of Consolation Church with Knights of Columbus and Knights of Ohio members in attendance. Father Thomas celebrated the requiem mass, and the male choir Joseph joined performed as pallbearers and attendees traveled from multiple towns to pay respects. Interment followed at St Marys cemetery with a long list of relatives and friends among the mourners.
