Carey School Board Meets With Auditor Beard
At a July luncheon at Carey High School the Carey Board of Education questioned Wyandot County Auditor Edward Beard about 1969 revenue reductions compared with 1968. Beard cited a drop from 40 000 to 50 000 in anticipated revenue due to lower personal property taxes and changes in the state foundation formula including expiration of a 600 per unit guarantee.
