Auto collision near Crawford involving Wirby and Wright
Saturday Henry Wirby proprietor of the Crawford store was driving home from Carey on the water bound when George Wright from south of town drove off Wright road to Carey. Wright tried to avoid a mud hole and side swiped Wirbys car causing considerable damage to both autos. No one was injured.

New Kind of Beans Captivates Times Window Exhibit
John Fenstermaker displays three stalls of unusual beans known as hog bean or horse bean in the Times office Window. The grandparents brought these beans in 1834 from Fairfield county during canal work. Fenstermaker recalls them from childhood after 50 years apart, with seeds recently found in Toledo. Road contract awarded for Seneca Hancock joint road
The Seneca and Hancock counties commissioners awarded the contract to Fred F. Walton & Co. of Upper Sandusky for 17 707.52 to improve the 0. N. Copley joint road. The bid by Upper Sandusky Construction Co. was 18 723.90 with an estimate of 19 603.62. The two and one tenth mile road will carry waterbound Macadam on a 22 foot width between Big Spring and Big Sick townships.

Ford Succeeds By Train At Carey Crossing
Tuesday forenoon about 9:00 o clock an engine and tender struck a Ford delivery car at the Main street crossing in Carey. A freight switching blocked the view. the driver escaped unharmed after killing the engine and stalling the car. The impact damaged a wheel a fender and one side of the hood.
