Funeral of L. B. Ward at Church of God Wharton
The funeral for L. B. Ward of near Wharton, who died at Mentrick hospital in Kent on Monday night, was held Thursday at 2 PM at the Church of God Wharton. Rev. S. F. Banders officiated with church choir providing music. Pallbearers were five Ward brothers and one nephew: A. C. Ward, O’Niel Ward, Howard Ward, Carl Ward, Roscoe Ward, and Cecil Wickiser, same as for Mrs. Ward’s funeral last year. Burial followed in Wharton cemetery.
