Wyandot County Culling Demonstrations Planned This Summer

Farm Bureau notes estimate 68 867 cull hens from Wyandot County flocks based on 1920 census and 30 percent cull rate. Projected feed savings reach 41 320 with possible county total savings 55 093 if all flocks are culled. Demonstrations begin July 25 in Lycamore township with county program to attend at least one session.

Maud Starr Weds Robert O Brown At Crawford Home

Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 the marriage of Miss Maud Starr to Mr. Robert O Brown took place at the home of Rev. and Mrs. G H Beaschler in Crawford. The ceremony was witnessed by Fred Powell and Dean Brown. The couple will reside on the bride’s farm three and a half miles southwest of town. Mrs Brown is the late George Starr’s daughter and Mr Brown is the son of Mr and Mrs F H Brown. Many friends extend best wishes.

Har ry Herndon of Three Rivers Michigan died suddenly after two strokes. He was 45, a Fairbanks Morse Co official, and left a wife and three children. His father James Herndon died last November. He was born on W Main Street in the city.

Fire Destroys Barn Near County Home. Upper Sandusky Responds

A barn owned by John L. Shumaker, located a mile west of the county home, burned Tuesday night. Much produce and farm machinery were destroyed. The Upper Sandusky fire department arrived with their new engine, while some citizens complained about using city apparatus. Local papers warned readers in response.
