Death of Ramona Walter at 5 in Marion
Ramona Monnetta Walter aged 5 years 6 days died Monday at her home on East North Street after a two week illness with scarlet fever and peritonitis. Private funeral services were held at 2:30 Tuesday at the home, conducted by Rev. O T Mfers. Burial was in Spring Grove cemetery. Attendees included Mr and Mrs Carl Nye and children Dallas Gertrude and Jack of Marion among other relatives and friends.

Forty members attended the Carey Farmers Community Club meeting on Monday. Rev. Paul R. Clouser spoke on avoiding extremes in life.
