William Greek longtime Carey resident dies at 72
William Greek born November 3, 1841 near Grace Chapel died at his S. Vance street home after a year’s illness. He spent four years in Idaho mining, lived on a Ridge township farm, moved to Carey in 1901, and was survived by two sisters Mollie Crawford and Delilah Cole among others. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. W. Sultzbach with interment at St. Paul cemetery.
