Christ Lutheran parish house to be dedicated this Sunday
The Christ Lutheran parish house and church, originally built in 1889 and enlarged, sit at 118 by 55 feet and 40 by 60 feet for the parish hall. The two story parish house includes classrooms, a secretary's room, offices, and a Luther League room with fireplaces and a large basement kitchen and stage. The church auditorium can now seat about 100 more, with lantern lighting, refreshed walls, and redecorated organ.

The Nitrauer and Fruth Furniture Co of Sycamore has purchased the Wesley Patterson furniture store from C. F. Sutter who bought it about a week ago. The new operation will open for business around February 6. Sutter can provide information before then. Jacob Nitrauer and his wife will move back to Carey after nine years in Sycamore.
