Sportsmen To Elect Officers At Care County Club Meeting
The Carey Farmers and Sportsmen Protective Association will elect officers Tuesday night January 23, 1940 at 8 pm. The club boasted over 300 members last year and reorganized a rearing pool, stocking Tymochtee creek with bass and catfish. It maintained two game preserves Stevens' Thicket and Shuman farm, trapping 82 birds with Game Protector Tom Warner. Members urged immediate rejoin and aim for 500 members this year.

Perrysburg Auto Case Involves Hit and Run Charge
Mrs. Robert Grafe was summoned to Perrysburg as authorities investigated an auto accident as her car passed through town. A bicycle rider suffered a broken leg and no witnesses were present. Officers checked all cars on the streets and expect a hit and run charge if the driver is found.
