News From Kurtz Rowalt Health Update
Denver couple Mr and Mrs Fred Rowalt report their son Kurtz suffered a peculi ar swelling on his cheek last summer. Teeth were removed after suspected dental trouble but the swelling persisted. A specialist feared sarcoma, but an intraoral incision revealed an abscess. No hospitalization or confinement occurred, contrary to earlier reports.

A large party including Mr and Mrs J D Ewing and many friends gathered Wednesday evening at Dr and Mrs J E Nichols to celebrate the twenty fourth wedding anniversary. They surprised the couple on the Nichols porch with horns and bells and presented a chair. A supper followed prepared by Miss Victoria Raymond and the Nichols sisters. A box of orange blossoms arrived from Miss Mildred Nichols in Los Angeles as a remembrance, and each guest received a spray of the flowers.

Lutheran Ladies Aid Society Meets With New President
