Wallace Outlines Dairy Control Plan At Madison

Secretary of Agriculture Henry A. Wallace outlined a tentative national dairy control plan aimed at a 10 percent net reduction in dairy output. The plan relies on individual voluntary farm allotments financed by a butterfat processing tax, with a $200 million fund and quarterly quota divisions. It also proposes an anti tuberculosis campaign with state cooperation and possible relocation of productive cows to southern regions.
