Second Lieut. Richard E. Mutz, son of Mrs. E. R. Mutz of 619 Elm St, is assigned as executive officer with Headquarters and Service Company of the 97th Engineer Battalion in Camp Angeles Luzon Philippines. He joined the army March 21 1946 at Camp Atterbury Indiana and trained at Fort Benning and Fort Belvoir before his overseas posting. He is an alumnus of Sandusky High School and attended Ohio Northern University. He is nephew to Mrs. Nora Heck and Mrs. W K Thomas and grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wagner.

A C and Y Diesel Starts Regular Freight Run
