Ellsworth S. Hollen a first shift caster department foreman at Am erace Molded Products Division Carey received a plaque from plant manager Donald Baldus for 38 years of service. The luncheon in his honor was held at Bowl-Era Tanes Restaurant in Carey.

Games and prizes followed. gifts and cards were sent to members. No further meeting in Tech Time was announced.

A marriage license was issued to Thomas L. Tucker, a Carey student and son of Theodore L. Tucker and Judith M. Thomas, Ridge Township, Wyandot County. The license was issued in probate court to bind him with Dale E. Thomas, a student and daughter of unspecified parents.
Wynford Royals beat Carey Blue Devils 56 to 41 as Mike Jacoby scored 20 and Larry Cole 14 for Carey while Wynford produced Don Kalb 23 and Schefer 10. Carey also routed Ada 103 to 39 the next night with Cole 35 Jacoby 25 and Phillips 17.

Mrs Wilbur Kinney hosted the J T Club in Tiffin last Thursday afternoon. Mrs Vincent Arnold drew the mystery package and won the door prize at the luncheon table. Members enjoyed visiting and crocheting with delicious refreshments. The group will meet February 29 at Mrs Lewie Beis’s home.
Carl Yates son of Dinnis and Mrs Yates of 421 M Vine St attends Crawford School as a seventh grader. He plays basketball and football and is a former Cub Scout. Carl is involved with church and serves as a dependable patrol member visiting several locators every three weeks. His favorite sports are basketball and swimming and he enjoys FBI on TV and chocolate candy.
Mrs Addison Ricks Enquires January 40 funeral services were held today at 2 with the Rev John Liwondot officiating. Born November 25 1402 she lived in Carey most of her life. Survived by one son Richard of rural Carey one sister Mrs Tracey Baker of Wharton one brother Heart Brashares of Wharton and two grandchildren. A member of the First Methodist Church of Carey burial at Zion Bloom Cemetery south of Vanlue. Bristol Funeral Home in charge.

Hazel Lenora Puchta 75 of 225 South Lake Street died at Blanchard Valley Hospital Findlay at 3 am January 30 after three months ill. Born September 23 1892 in Carey she married John Puchta in 1910. Surviving children Ralph Russell Frances Irene Alice and others plus 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Funeral at 2 pm at Memon EAB Church Rev Robert Klingel to officiate. interment Spring Grove Cemetery. Goff Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs Cassie Fletcher 69 of 287 Gle Avenue Carey Ohio died January 24 1968 at Blanchard Valley Hospital Findlay of a cerebral hemorrhageShe was born May 3 1898 in Magos in Kentucky daughter of William and Louise Collins Wriley She married Collie Sizemore in 1912 who died 1918 and married Simon P Fletcher in 1921 who died August 17 1996 Surviving include son Freeman Sizemore Carey and several children and stepchildren from both marriages with many grandchildren and great grandchildren She was a longtime Carey resident member of Church of God of Prophecy Funeral held January 27 at 230 PM at the church with Rev Carlos Dyer officiating Burial in Spring Grove Cemetery Bristoll Funeral Home in charge
