Three separate crashes are noted. A 1964 Chevrolet owned by Edward Wentling on West Street was struck by an unknown vehicle January 14 at 7 05 am causing about 40 dollars damage. Ed ward J Wentling was the owner. A backing incident on E South Street January 18 at 8 25 am involved Ottuce H Coppier hitting a westbound vehicle on L South Street. Driver Flor me M DeAmicis of 131 Worello Street sustained about 50 dollars damage. Investigating officers were cited with no charges filed.

Randy Hoover earned a gold rating and won in the prepared division while Dan Stansbery placed third with silver. Bob Sturgeon won gold in extemporaneous, with Sam Bennett earning two bronze ratings. Randy and Bob advance to the district contest in Delaware Hayes on January 24.
