Walter S. Phillips of Tymochtee township and Miss Carrie M. Beis near Adrian were married Saturday noon at Rev. Theo Mittermaier's home in Upper Sandusky. The ceremony was witnessed by Mr and Mrs James Phillips. They will live with the bride's father G W Beis near Adrian after a wedding trip.

Communion Service Announces Old Year Close
A last communion service of the old year will be held Sunday at the Lutheran Church. Those unable to attend the morning service may come at 6 30 in the evening to receive the sacrament. The regular Preparatory Service is scheduled for Friday night at seven o clock.

Mrs. Albert Bloom dies after strokes at 61 in Carey
Mrs. Albert Bloom died at her Brown avenue home after several strokes and paralysis. Born August 23 1862 she was 61 years old and had married Nicodemus Meeks in 1879 and Albert Bloom in 1923, leaving seven grandchildren and surviving children Earl William and Charles Meeks. Funeral held at Methodist Episcopal church in Carey with interment in Spring Grove cemetery. pallbearers listed among relatives and friends.

Death of Delmar E. Geiger Former East Findlay restaurateur
Delmar E. Geiger, proprietor of the East Findlay street restaurant, died Christmas Day of heart trouble at about 1:00 pm. Coroner Naus ruled the cause, with funeral services set for Friday at 10:00 am at the Evangelical church and a second service Saturday at 2:00 pm at his brother’s home in Lima. He leaves a second wife Laura Geiger, two daughters, a step-daughter, a step-son, plus three sisters and a brother. Geiger belonged to Knights of Pythias and Moose lodges.
