Carey High School announces its annual mid winter concert Monday December 22 at 8 pm in the high school auditorium. The program features Richard Doran on flute Estrellita Virginia Meek and Sammy McChesney in The Rhapsody In Blue solo arrangements and several seasonal pieces including Christmastide Overture White Christmas and Tumbling Tumbleweeds. A newly formed girls chorus will also perform in the event.

The greater part of his hand was amputated at the wrist and he is under treatment at Mercy hospital, with plans to return to his parents north of Carey.
