A white albino deer near the Ralph Haferd farm southeast of Carey died after a fence jump panic. Haferd and his son David found the buck dead, weighing about 80 pounds with small four inch horns. A faulty furnace ignited a house trailer and straw insulation under the trailer, causing about $2,000 in damage.
