A Carey meter was struck at 3 p.m. on December 4 by joining Puckett backing a 58 Pontiac, causing $20 damage with minor Pontiac damage. Later at 9:42 p.m. December 4 Mike Coldiron backing a 67 Mercury hit a 63 Ford at Mt Idy Lanes. James Cole's Ford sustained $75 and the Mercury $50 in damages.

Charged With Receiving Stolen Goods
Russell Ritter Jr Carey faced a Carey Police Department charge for receiving stolen goods. The Upper Sandusky Municipal Court fined him $50 plus costs and, unable to pay, committed him to the county jail. Billfolds Stolen From Store In Carey
Carey police investigated a theft at the E D Neikirk Store around 3 15 p m December 6. Two billfolds belonging to Mrs Charles Taylor and Mrs Ira Hablitzel contained about 25 dollars each. The wallets were found later in a mailbox near Our Lady of Consolation Church with the money missing. Police continue the investigation.
