The Gasco Food Institute at the Catholic hall drew nearly 1,000 attendees across Friday and Saturday with food lectures demonstrations and prizes. Miss Katherine Thiele of Columbus led the program assisted by Miss Sue Thomas of Findlay and Ronald Lowe of Columbus. The Ohio Fuel Gas company and Carey Times sponsored the event with local merchants providing many prizes and donations.
