Wyandot County Holds First Swine Type Conference
Wyandot county hosts its first swine type conference in the dining hall at Wyandot county fairgrounds on Thursday December 14 at 1 15 p m. S C G Cashman Wyandot county agricultural agent and Ohio State University experts HH JM Barnes Wilbur Bruner will compare hog cuts to show career value differences of Wyandot county farm hogs. Hog Improvement association members will choose hogs Monday for slaughter and transport to the fairgrounds. Live hogs of similar types will be displayed for hoof and rail grade comparison before the demonstration. Fresh pork cuts will be auctioned to the highest bidder after the demonstrations. All Wyandot county residents interested in swine improvement are invited.

Jail Escapers Captured After Overnight Breakout
Paul Tanner of Marion and Don Bentz of Biffin, both jailed for larceny in Wyandot county, were recaptured at 12 46 a m Monday, an hour and 20 minutes after the escape was found at 11 06 p m Sunday. Emerson Hogan special deputy sheriff at Harpster caught them after watch was kept at railroad crossings. they escaped by removing a heavy window weight and making a 18 by 24 inch hole in the brick wall about 19 feet up.
