Carey Man Killed in Plane Crash Near Republic
Nevin Ballreich 27 of Tiffin husband of Martha Tracey of Carey died at Mercy Hospital Tiffin after a plane crash a mile west of Republic Gerald Allen Champson 17 of Melimore died instantly. Coroner Dr. William Benner says both men had skull fractures and internal injuries. Plane was a Piper cub with unknown details.
