Local stockholders of the Ma n g i n eering Co. of Sandusky plan to contest a Dollings claim and raise a per share contribution to cover suit costs. The Matthews group denies owing a large sum to the Dollings, who financed the Sandusky concern years ago. Don Cosgray is receiver of the Matthews Co. If the Dollings claim stands, stockholders would receive only a small percent of their investment.

Miss La Verge Galbroner and nine other Girl Scouts returned from Camp Wyandot south of Upper Sandusky after a week of camping under Y M C A supervision. Pilgrims arrive by train for Our Lady shrine devotion
About 15 000 pilgrims from Detroit traveled to Carey for a Our Lady of Consolation shrine event. Two special Big Four trains carried worshippers from Detroit with autos bringing many more. Franciscan Third Order members led the trip under Franciscan auspices. Parish groups from St Bonaventure's St Hedwig's and Our Lady of Angels participated. English Polish sermons were heard in the day’s services.
